SCHENCKS Land- und Forstimmobilien looks back on a long history. It had its origins 20 years ago in Hamburg with the founding of HMM Heritage Media & Marketing GmbH in 2002, which is still active today as a publishing house and communications agency in the field of cultural heritage and monument preservation. Managing Director Christoph Frhr. Schenck zu Schweinsberg published a travel guide with an accompanying Internet portal on historic houses and gardens in Germany and Europe: SCHENCKS Schlösser & Gärten.
Through his extensive knowledge and national and international network in the field of historic houses, Christoph Frhr. Schenck zu Schweinsberg entered the real estate business ten years later, initially as a cooperation partner of Engel & Völkers Residential GmbH. Schenck was responsible for the Castles & Mansions division. Two years later, this was expanded to include the business area of land and forestry real estate and SCHENCKS Land- und Forstimmobilien GmbH was founded, initially as a licensed partner of Engel & Völkers Commercial GmbH.
Today, SCHENCKS Land- und Forstimmobilien is one of the leading advisors for transactions in agriculture and forestry as well as for castles, manor houses and exclusive equestrian facilities.
