about Historic estate with potential
Object description
For a long time, the traditional estate was owned by the Teutonic Order. Various other owners, including the Free Imperial City of Heilbronn, managed the estate with about 250 hectares of agricultural land. In the 19th century, after the Baron von Waechter took possession, the castle, which still exists today, was built in the neo-Renaissance style, embedded in an English landscape garden with old trees.
tree population. In the past, some of the buildings of the estate were used for residential purposes. Some buildings, such as the "Oberes Pächterhaus", have been partially renovated. The manor house as well as the adjacent buildings are in need of renovation and in some cases redevelopment. The former cattle stables are no longer used.
The entire ensemble is under monument protection.

The estate is located in the north of Württemberg not far from the A 81 motorway and is easy to reach via this motorway. The estate belongs to the municipality of Oedheim.
